Acupressure
Duties and Responsibilities: Unlike
conventional Western medical practice, acupuncture professionals are trained to
treat the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They
take into account a patient's physical, mental and emotional condition in order
to determine the proper course of treatment. In addition to providing
acupuncture therapy, practitioners help their patients achieve balance and wellness.
Salary: $31,390-$81,830
Education: At a minimum, applicants must possess a high school diploma
or GED certificate to become an acupressure professional. The most common
option for candidates to learn the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a 1-year certificate program, with
associate's degree programs as another option.
Reflection:
I would not like to be a Acupressure because is not my thing to do and its not
for me.
